Your Ultimate Guide to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

🎃 Frights, Delights & Mickey Nights: A Family Guide to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Costumes, candy, and characters await at Disney’s spook-tacular celebration, perfect for kids (and grown-up kids) who love Halloween without the screams!

Get ready to shriek with delight! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns, transforming Magic Kingdom into a frightfully fun festival of tricks, treats, and treasured Disney magic. With exclusive entertainment, a fang-tastic fireworks show, villainous stage spectaculars, and all the candy you can carry (seriously, bring a big bag), this after-hours event is perfect for kids, adults, and foolish mortals of all ages.

Running select nights from August 7 to October 31, this hard-ticketed party routinely sells out, so grab your broomstick and act fast if you want to join the ghoulish fun!

🎃 Party Basics: The BOO Print

🧟‍♂️ Ticket to Fright:

This is a separately ticketed event, so regular park admission won’t cut it. Magic Kingdom closes at 6 p.m. on party nights, and only guests with Halloween party tickets can remain for the spooky shenanigans from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Bonus: You can enter the park with your party ticket as early as 4 p.m., giving you extra time to creep it real.

🧛 Dress to Distress (in Style):

Costumes are encouraged, with some ghoulish guidelines:

  • Kids 13 & under: Masks and full costumes allowed, just make sure eyes are visible and unobstructed.
  • Guests 14+: Dress as your favorite characters, but no autographs or impersonating cast members. Keep it family-friendly:
    • No floor-dragging capes
    • No realistic-looking weapons
    • No masks for adults
🍬 Trick-or-TREAT Yo’ Self:

Unlimited candy? Yes, please! Mars Wrigley offers a variety of sweets, and allergy-friendly options are also available.

PRO TIP: Bring your own cauldron-sized bag to maximize your haul and keep those treat trails going strong.

📸 Magic Shots & Ghostly Glam:

Don’t forget to capture your night with party-exclusive PhotoPass Magic Shots scattered throughout the park. These aren’t your everyday Disney photos. Get spook-tacular shots featuring:

  • 👻 The Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion
  • 🐴 The Headless Horseman galloping through your frame
  • 🕯️ Ghastly glowing effects and creepy-cute overlays
  • 💫 Unique Halloween Magic Shots that vanish after the party ends!

Just ask a PhotoPass Cast Member where to find them, and don’t ghost the camera!
