Staying at a Universal Orlando Premier resort comes with major advantages, and Royal Pacific offers the biggest one of all: FREE Unlimited Express Pass for both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. This perk alone can save you hours per day—turning your visit from “we’ll try to fit it all in” to “we can ride everything we want.”
You’ll also enjoy Early Park Admission, which gets you into select parks up to an hour early, a huge benefit for popular attractions and seasonal events. The resort’s convenient walkways, shuttles, and dedicated water taxis make park hopping seamless, especially since the boats drop you off at CityWalk after sailing through their own security checkpoint. Add in room-key charging privileges, in-park merchandise delivery, and priority seating at select restaurants, and you quickly see why staying here is more about experience than just accommodations.
UNIVERSAL EXPRESS PASS UNLIMITED
Guests at Loews Royal Pacific receive unlimited Express Pass access for rides at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. This allows you to skip the regular lines at participating attractions, saving you tons of wait time. (Valid theme park admission is required.)
EARLY THEME PARK ADMISSION
You can enter selected Universal parks up to one hour before regular guests, giving you a head start on popular rides.
FREE RESORT TRANSPORTATION
The resort offers complimentary water taxis and shuttles, making it super easy to go between the hotel, the parks, and CityWalk.

One of the best things you can do at Royal Pacific is build in a full or partial day of resort downtime. With so many amenities designed for relaxation and fun, it’s worth stepping away from the parks to enjoy the hotel itself.
The lagoon-style pool—surrounded by white sand, swaying palms, and island décor—feels like a hidden slice of paradise. Kids will love the interactive play area, while adults can unwind on oversized lounge chairs, sip refreshing drinks from Bula Bar & Grille, or rent a cabana for extra privacy. The atmosphere is lively but never hectic, making it equally perfect for families and couples.
Beyond the pool, the resort offers a swim-worthy list of activities:
You’ll find a well-equipped fitness center, a family-friendly arcade, scenic walking and jogging paths, and a charming boutique-style gift shop stocked with apparel, souvenirs, and island-inspired finds. Travel By Danielle’s Expert Opinion
Loews Royal Pacific Resort is, without question, my favorite Universal Orlando hotel, and it all comes down to the perfect blend of theme, convenience, and value. I love the warm, exotic atmosphere that instantly puts you in vacation mode, and the location is unbeatable. You’ll be just steps from the two original parks and CityWalk. The ability to walk, take a scenic boat, or hop on a shuttle to Epic Universe makes everything feel effortless.
The Unlimited Express Pass benefit is the crown jewel. It dramatically changes the pace of your park days and gives you the freedom to ride what you want, when you want, without obsessing over wait times or touring plans. It takes a massive cost off your vacation planning, and it’s much easier to just buy it for your Epic Universe days. You don’t have to worry about it for the original parks. And after a long day of fun, returning to that sprawling pool with its oversized towels, attentive service, and plenty of space to relax feels heavenly.
I also love the dining variety—from sushi to American comfort food to a full luau. And the club-level experience? Totally worth it for the breakfast, snacks, and quiet lounge alone. Royal Pacific just delivers experience after experience, making every stay feel special.
