You can spend hours enjoying free activities like meeting Santa (don’t forget to join the virtual queue so you don’t lose time waiting in line), enjoying the Christmas Tree Stroll, full of dozens of elaborately themed Disney trees (peep that Haunted Mansion tree!), even snow EVERY NIGHT! Spend time just exploring or knocking out your holiday shopping list. And don’t miss the special holiday-themed cookies, candies, cocktails, and more!  Holiday calories don’t count at Disney World!

Resort Hopping: Gingerbread Dreams & Lobby Scenes

You don’t need a park ticket to tour the most beautifully decorated hotels on property!  Every resort has its own personality, towering lobby trees, whimsical displays, handmade treats, even hidden holiday surprises. It’s the kind of activity you can spend an entire day doing… and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

🎁 The Heart of Holiday Magic, Lit Up and Larger Than Life

As soon as you step onto Main Street USA, you can feel that old-time holiday nostalgia, the kind you can’t recreate anywhere else.  A gigantic tree sparkles at the front of the park, Christmasy window displays all the way down the street, holiday wreaths lining the light poles all the way to the castle.  THIS is holiday magic! And you’re just getting started!

What’s Included with Park Admission?

You don’t have to pay extra to feel the holiday magic. It starts the second you step onto Main Street USA!  Start by having your photo taken by every photographer and ask for special holiday-themed magic shots!  Make your Memory Maker package wholly worth it!  Then head over to meet the big guy himself, Santa Claus!

Gather in front of Cinderella Castle for a Frozen Holiday Surprise. Olaf and the Snowgies decorate the castle in giggly chaos while Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa bring the finale: a shimmering, icy transformation that gets a collective “ooooh” from everyone around you.

On the other side of the park, the iconic Jungle Cruise has turned into the JINGLE Cruise—complete with witty holiday jokes that come only come from the world famous Jungle Cruise skippers!

🎄 Where Christmas Hits Different: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

It’s true that you don’t have to spend extra money to celebrate the holidays, but you can! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed after hours event that takes place on select evenings throughout the holiday season. And in my humble opinion, it’s worth every single penny.

Magic Kingdom closes down early and limits entry for party guests only. This means that wait times for your favorite attractions are much shorter. Some attractions get a special holiday makeover during the party, too, like Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and, of course, the Jingle Cruise.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade glides down Main Street with dancing gingerbread men, reindeer, princesses, and Santa bringing up the rear. Fireworks burst behind the castle during Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, filling the sky with reds and greens and an iconic holiday soundtrack.  Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration takes place in front of Cinderella Castle, a festive holiday Yuletide bash with Mickey and his friends.

Hop between dance parties, like Club Tinsel in Tomorrowland, Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s, and Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus, grab free cookies and hot chocolate, and meet special characters in their holiday finest. Time somehow feels both fast and slow, like childhood Christmas Eve.

🌟 EPCOT: Travel the World…With a Side of Christmas Cookies!

EPCOT feels like the world’s most magical holiday postcard, giving you the opportunity to celebrate the holidays all around the world! Global Holiday Kitchens are located all throughout the park and World Showcase, allowing you to taste the holidays all around the world. Germany smells like roasted nuts. France smells like pastries. America smells like pie.  Armed with your Cookie Stroll passport, you nibble your way to an exclusive treat at the end, because dessert is a journey.

As you wander around the world, you encounter storytellers: Norway’s mischievous barn Santa, Italy’s La Befana, Japan’s New Year’s traditions, even discover the celebration of Hannukah. It’s a cultural treasure hunt. And speaking of hunt’s, take part in Olaf’s holiday scavenger hunt around World Showcase!

Inside the America Gardens Theatre, you spot the line for the Candlelight Processional. The narrator is a celebrity, the choir is angelic, and the orchestra sends chills down your spine, it’s a holiday must-do.  And you can secure your seating by purchasing a dining package!  This is my favorite EPCOT Festival during the entire year.  EPCOT is gorgeous during the holiday season and there’s so much to see and do, it’s almost impossible to get it done in one visit!

🍿 Hollywood Studios: Where Vintage Hollywood Meets Holiday Sparkle

🎬 Retro Hollywood Christmas Magic? It’s a VIBE!

You step into Hollywood Studios and suddenly it’s the 1950s again, with glittering tinsel, pastel ornaments, and classic Christmas charm. This park is DRIPPING with 1950s nostalgia, and the decorations alone are worth the trip. Even the soundtrack is vintage as you stroll around the park!

Have you ever seen snow on Sunset Boulevard?  I have! Enoy Sunset Seasons Greetings, when the Hollywood Tower Hotel transforms with projections while snow flutters in the air. Echo Lake glows with floating ornaments, and Gertie the Dinosaur sports her holiday hat and her favorite ornament. The nightly tree lighting gives you goosebumps.

Over in Toy Story Land, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz are wearing their Christmas best, celebrating the holidays in Andy’s decorated backyard. You can also meet Santa daily and take in the special holiday finale in For the First Time In Forever: a Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, starring Olaf himself! That’s not all that’s included in your regular park admission either.  You can make reservations for Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine, celebrate Life Day in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, enjoy holiday-exclusive food and drink, and take part in festive photo ops.

🎉 A Glam Holiday Soirée Meets Disney Magic: Jollywood Nights

Like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights is a special ticketed after hours event, with limited admission for ticketed guests only.  It takes place on select evenings at Hollywood Studios during the holiday season, and Hollywood Studios will close early on party nights. 

This is a glamorous holiday party unlike anything else on Disney property. Think old Hollywood holiday soirée meets modern-day spectacle.

You drift between immersive experiences:

• Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! This dazzling nighttime spectacular will make your holiday spirits bright! Heartwarming holiday moments from your favorite Disney flicks are projected on the Chinese Theater in a stunning display of fireworks, lasers, lights, projections, and merry music!
• What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along.  Join Jack Skellington on a dreamlike adventure as you sing-along to songs from the film.
• Disney’s Holidays in Hollywood stars Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. This star-studded holiday extravaganza is a toe-tapping good time with appearances by Tiana, Belle, Mickey, Minnie, and more!
• Glisten! stars international champion skaters performing routine set to a holiday soundtrack and Disney favorites
• Characters you NEVER see elsewhere—Bing Bong, Powerline Max, Santa Stitch, Scrooge McDuck, Duffy, and more

Celebrate at swanky venues and hot spots around the park during the party. The Echo Lake Holiday Celebration is a throwback bash with nostalgia from the 1990s and 2000s. Visit with Baloo and King Louie from TaleSpin, Max Goof as Powerline, Phineas & Ferb, Rescue Rangers, and even Santa Stitch!

Holiday Fiesta en la Calle takes place near the Rock N Roller Coaster and features a lively Latin street fair with spirited musicians performing Latin holiday tunes.  And look for Disney pals like Miguel, Jose Carioca or Panchito! The Pixar Disco features a rockin’ dance party with Edna Mode, Frozone, Joy, and Mike Wazowski.

For some glamorous adult fun, head to the Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club! This swingin’ celebration in the courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel features a live jazz band who croons holiday tunes while you sip festive cocktails. You can also take in the jazzy holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby and meet Santa Duffy! This event offers party-exclusive food and beverage, apparel, accessories, and more, and exclusive party photo ops. This is a newer event and Disney has steadily improved it over the years.
